How to Apply Your Stickoda Stickers

Follow these steps for a perfect, long-lasting bond

❄️ Note on Adhesive Properties

The adhesive may weaken at low temperatures. Please avoid applying the stickers in cold winter conditions or directly under a cold air conditioner.

The Ultimate 5-Step Application Guide

Step 1. Clean the Surface

Clean the Surface

Thoroughly remove any dust, oil, or moisture from the surface where you want to apply the sticker.

💡 Tip: For brand-new items, wiping the surface with an alcohol prep pad will greatly improve adhesion.

Step 2. Peel the Sticker

Our stickers come pre-cut! Hold the corner of the front clear film and peel it off in one quick, firm motion to lift the design from the backing paper.

💡 Tip: Don't hesitate! A quick and confident peel helps the sticker lift cleanly along with the clear film.

Step 3. Place the Sticker

Decide on the exact position, then place the sticker onto the surface.

💡 Please apply carefully: The sticker is highly permanent and difficult to remove once attached.

Step 4. Press and Rub

Press and Rub

Using your fingers or a squeegee, firmly press and rub the printed areas to ensure complete and secure adhesion to the object.

💡 Tip: Rubbing only the printed parts prevents unnecessary adhesive residue, leaving a much cleaner finish.

Step 5. Remove the Film

Remove the Clear Film

Slowly and gently peel off the front clear film at a sharp angle, making sure the sticker design does not tear or lift.

💡 Tip: Bend the clear film sharply while peeling to ensure a clean separation.

✨ Pro-Tip for Powder-Coated Surfaces (e.g., Stanley Tumblers)

If you are applying the sticker to a textured, powder-coated surface like a Stanley Tumbler, the adhesive needs a little extra help to grip the texture:

  • After rubbing the sticker, gently warm it up with a hairdryer for a few seconds.
  • Press and rub the sticker once more while it is still warm.
  • Let it cool down completely before moving to the next step.

*This softens the adhesive, allowing it to flow into the textured crevices for a permanent bond.

⚠️ Essential Post-Care: Curing Period

Please allow the sticker to cure for at least 24 hours before normal use. For the absolute best result before running it through a dishwasher, we recommend waiting 72 hours so the adhesive can bond perfectly.
